For this edition of GROW, the hike will take place on the edge of the Slovenian Karst plateau.
The hike starts in the small village of Črni Kal, at the bottom of a popular rock climbing cliff. The path leads towards an 11th century fortress at the top of the cliff, overhanging above the village and offering a panoramic sight of the Slovenian coast.
After roughly 2.5 hours along the Karst plateau, the hike stops at the Socerb castle where you can get a great view on the bay of Trieste and the Ankaran peninsula.
Hiking shoes are highly recommended!
