All students that will give a talk during 9th PhD Summer School in Discrete Mathematics will be automatically competing for the best student talk award. Students can submit the titles and abstracts for their talks until May 31, 2019, by sending it to the e-mail: sygn@upr.si.
Recipient of the award will be decided by the award committee, based on the student's presentation at the students session of the Summer School.
The committee members for year 2019 are: Martin Milanič (University of Primorska, Slovenia), Jeroen Schillewaert (The University of Auckland, New Zealand) and Klara Stokes (Maynooth University, Ireland).
The recipient of the award gets free participation at the 10th PhD Summer School in Discrete Mathematics.
The winner of the Best Student Talk Award at the 9th PhD Summer School in Discrete Mathematics is Peter Zeman from Charles University in Prague for the talk entitled Testing isomorphism of circular-arc graphs in polynomial time.
