Best Student Talk Award

All students that will give a talk during 10th PhD Summer School in Discrete Mathematics will be automatically competing for the best student talk award. Students can submit the titles and abstracts for their talks until May 31, 2022, by sending it to the e-mail: sygn@upr.si.

Recipient of the award will be decided by the award committee, based on the student's presentation at the students session of the Summer School. 

The committee members for year 2022 are:  Ted Dobson, Aleksander Malnič and Russ Woodroofe.

The recipient of the award gets free participation at the 11th PhD Summer School in Discrete Mathematics.

The winner of the Best Student Talk Award at the 10th PhD Summer School in Discrete Mathematics is Sam Adriaensen from Vrije Universiteit Brussel for the talk entitled Stability of Erdos-Ko-Rado Theorems in Circle Geometries.

The committee awarded an honorable mention to Krisztina Szilagyi from Utrecht University for the talk entitled Polynomial Kernel For Face Cover.
