DESCRIPTION:Following a series of very successful meetings “Biomathemati
 cs Afternoon in Ljubljana” – the last one took place on February 17\, 
 2016 (https://conferences.matheo.si/event/23/) – we now organise a one-d
 ay meeting in Koper to present and exchange the uses of various mathematic
 al notions (such as topology) in the bio-sciences. Majority of participant
 s will be members of the traditional 34th Winterseminar in Bled (https://w
 ww.tbi.univie.ac.at/bled/) blended with the local mathematical and scienti
 fic community. It is the first time that the meeting will take place in Ko
 per on February 13\, 2019. Participants of this meeting with contributions
  of mathematical nature are invited to submit their papers to the special 
 issue of the newly established journal ADAM (The Art of Discrete and Appli
 ed Mathematics\, https://adam-journal.eu/index.php/ADAM) that will be gues
 t-edited by Peter F. Stadler and Tomaž Pisanski.\n\nScientific Committee:
